Once upon a time, in a big forest, there was a wise old owl named Ollie. Ollie was known for giving good advice to all the animals. Nearby, there lived a crow named Coco, who often made quick decisions without thinking.

One day, Coco found a delicious piece of cheese. As he flew up to a tree to eat it, Ollie the owl noticed and said, “Be careful, Coco. There are tricky animals in this forest who might try to take your cheese.”

Coco didn’t listen and proudly sat on a branch with his cheese. Just then, a sly fox came by. The fox saw the cheese and wanted it for himself. He said, “Oh, Coco, you have such a beautiful voice! Can you sing a song for me?”

Coco, flattered by the fox’s words, opened his beak to sing, forgetting all about the cheese. The moment he opened his mouth, the cheese fell to the ground, and the fox quickly snatched it and ran away.

Coco felt foolish and sad. He flew to Ollie and said, “I should have listened to you, Ollie. I was tricked by the fox.”

Ollie smiled kindly and said, “It’s okay, Coco. We all make mistakes, but it’s important to learn from them.”

Moral: Think before you act, and don’t let flattery fool you.
